Reitz Church board for 6 years. also a member male quartet. 50th Anniversary article: Edgar and Hazel Krug of Phoenix, AZ, will celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary Sunday, June 25, with an open house from 2-5 p.m. at Club Fond du Lac on West Scott St. The former Hazel Luedtke of Fond du Lac and Krug of the Town of Empire were married June 10, 1945, at St. Peters Lutheran Church by the late Rev. Gerhard Pieper. Attendants were Nelda Luedtke Seeley, Carlton Krug, Ruth Beltz Gray, Carlton Seibel, Isabel Krug, George Bechler and Marjorie Wightman Strong. They were dairy farmers in the Town of Forest until moving to Phoenix in 1981 where they managed Arizona Lutheran Retirement Center until their retirement in 1992. They are members of Emmaus Lutheran Church in Phoenix. They have three children; Marilyn Wagner of FDL, Gary and his wife Lenore of San Diego, CA, and Kathryn Carlson and her husband Charles of Darien. They have eight grandchildren. A son-in-law, Marvin Wagner is also deceased.
