1 Details: Miss Zimmerman Wed Saturday To Mr. Thompson A ceremony at Grace Luther an Church Saturday afternoon united Miss Donna Lee Zimmer. man and Gale Lewis Thompson. The Rev. J. W. Jacobsen per formed the 4 p.m. rite for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl T. Zimmerman, 923 63rd St., and son of Mr. and Mrs, Gilman C. Thompson, 7402 43rd St. Traditional music was sup- plied by Mrs. Max Streck, or. ganist, and Mrs. James Maxey, who sang the solos. Miss Zimmerman's gown of rosepoint lace and nylon tulle Donna Zimmerman Thompson over satin featured a portrait neckline, long, tapered sleeves and an overskirt of lace which fell into a formal train. Her headpiece was a contour bon- net holding an illusion veil. Given in marriage by her fath- er, she carried white feathered carnations and pink demure ros- es in a cascade. Maid of honor was Miss Kar- en Hovey who was preceded down the aisle by bridesmaids Miss Sandra Lindstrand, Mrs. Ronald Pickos and Miss Susan Licht of Boyd, Wis. They wore similar gowns of frosted white eyelet over aqua taffeta with ruffled, waltz- length skirts and taffeta cum- merbunds. Tiny hats of aqua maline held shoulder veils. They carried pink and white feathered carnations in cascade bouquets. Lawrence Curtis was best man. Groomsmen included Dav- id Zimmerman, Ronald Pickos and Rodney Thompson. Clar- ence Thompson and Joseph Thompson, uncles of the bride- groom, seated guests. Four hundred guests were in- vited to celebrate the nuptials at a reception in the American Legion Club. The couple left later for the East coast, and will live in Atlantic City, N. J. Both are employed by the Arthur Murray Dance Studio there. l' The bride formerly worked at Cooper's, Inc., office, and her husband by Clarence Thomp- son, mason contractor.
