Details: Obituaries Former Kenoshan Lake Victim Willard L. Beckar, 44. Mil. waukee, a former resident of Kenosha, died at Potters Lake, near East Troy in Walworth County, Sunday afternoon. The former Kenosha man had gone to the Walworth County and prior to his death had eaten lake for a family picnic outing lunch, rested and rowed on the lake. He approached a raft With the boat and joined a group of picnickers. After diving from the raft, he floated to the sur- face. The unconscious man was taken immediately from the water by his wife, Dorothy, and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jaehnke, all of Milwaukee. A short time later he was pronounced dead. Following the lake mishap, the body was brought to Kenosha where Dr. Stephen H. Holt, local patholigist was performing an examination today to deter- mine the cause of death. Dr. Holt reported decision in the autopsy was "awaiting results of a microscopic examination." Becker was born in Kenosha, Oct. 14, 1914, a son of Mr. and M". Becker. He in Kenosha until 1957 when he moved to Milwaukee. On April 4, 1959, he married Mrs. Dorothy C. Coons. Becker was formerly employed by the A. O. Smith Corp. in Milwaukee and, at the time of his death. was employed by the American Motors Corp. in Milwaukee. He was a member of UAW-CIO Local 72 and also Of the Frat- ernal Order of Eagles Lodge 1055. Besides his widow, he is sur- vived by hismother, Mrs. Emma Becker, Kenosha; two sisters, Mrs. William Zettler, Milwau- kee, and Mrs. Ernest Luetkens, Kenosha; and a brother, Clif ford, Kenosha.
