He was born in Germany, March 18, 1882, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Becker and - in 1902, came to Kenosha. In 1903, he married Miss Emma Becker. Becker had been employed by the former Allen Tannery, and later engaged in the teamster busi- ness until 1919, when he moved to northern Wisconsin where he did farming. He returned to $enosha in 1935 and continued to farm for eight years, when he entered the employment of Nash Motors. Beck- er was a member of the Implanuel Methodist church, the Siegheller society and the UAW-CIO Local 72. In addition to his widow,- sur- vivors are three sons and three daughters, Willard, Clifford, Mrs. Margaret Rasch and Mrs. Ernest Luetkens, all of Kenosha; Roland and Mrs. William Zettler, both qt Milwaukee: two sisters, Mrs. Rose Swanson, Kenosha; Mrs. Pauline Kober, Germany; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sons and a daughter.
