He served in the US Army Air Corp in WWII. He is survived by his daughter Kathleen Partin. He is preceed in death by his wife Ida L. Becker in May 2006. Burial: Green Ridge Cemetery Kenosha Kenosha County Wisconsin, US Henry P Homs 1915 - 2006 Henry P Homs 91 formerly of Kenosha died Monday Aug 21 2006 at St Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee Bom on June 23 1915 in Kenosha he was the son of the late Daniel and Wilhelmi-na (Weiss) Homs He attended Frieden’s and St Luke’s Lutheran Schools and graduated from Mary D Bradford High School On Aug 22 1941 he married Ida L Becker at St Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church She preceded him in death on May 22 2006 During WWH he served as a radar technician in the Pacific with the Army Air Corp entering service in November 1942 and later being discharged in January 1946 with the rank of Sergeant He was employed by the Simmons Co for 23 years as an engineering technician and in 1959 moved to Milwaukee to work for Delco Electronics and the Perfex Company from which he retired in 1980 He returned to Kenosha in 1983 He was a member of Frieden’s Evangelical Lutheran Church the Wisconsin Society of Engineering Technicians and the Senior Action Council Survivors include his daughter Kathleen Partin of West Allis two grandchildren Ryan and Nicole and one sister Ida Sadowski of Kenosha Funeral services will be held on Monday Aug 28 at 12 pm at Friedens’ Evangelical Lutheran Church Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 10:30 am until the time of the service Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home 6019 7th Avenue Kenosha Wl 53143 262-654-2136 ‘ CLIPPED FROM Kenosha News Kenosha, Wisconsin 27 Aug 2006, Sun • Page 6
