She is survived by her husband Henry and daughter Kathleen. Burial: Green Ridge Cemetery Kenosha Kenosha County Wisconsin, USA Ida L. Homs 1919 - 2006 Ida L. Homs, 87, formerly of Kenosha, died Monday, May 22, 2006, at Cameo Care Center in Milwaukee. Born on Feb. 24, 1919, in Kenosha, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Gustav and Louise (Licht) Becker. On Aug. 22, 1941, she mar- ried Henry Homs at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was employed by Sim- mons Co. and later by Becker Awning and Flooring Co. of Kenosha and in 1959 she moved to Milwaukee where she worked for Delco Electronics and then St. Luke's Hospital from which she retired. She returned to Kenosha in 1983. She was a member of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Senior Action Council. Survivors include her husband, Henry of Milwaukee; one daughter, Kathleen Partin of West Allis, Wis., and two grandchildren, Ryan and Nicole. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Adolph, Theodore, Rudy and George. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, at 12 Noon at Friedens Evangel- ical Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
