1 Details: Charles W. Doerflinger Charles W. 69, a former Kenosha resident, died at Hwpital, Colorado Springs, Colo., according to word received here. He was born in Kenosha Oct. 12, 1900, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Doerflinger, He attended local schools and resided here until moving to Cdorado Springs in 1949. In June, 1928, he married Marcella Gira. He had been at the Simmons Co. and operated a grocery store for about 10 years. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Dolores) McCloughan , and Mrs. Roy (Loretta) Sportsman, both of Clorado Springs, and Mrs. Albert (Carol) Litell, Canon City, eight grandchildrm; a brother, George Doerflinger, Racine, and three sisters, Mrs. William (Ida) Reid, and Mrs. Harry (Elizabeth) Binninger and Mrs. Albert (Margaret) Christensen, both ot Tampa, Fla. Clipped from Kenosha News 24.10.1969 Charles Doerflinger • Funeral Is Friday Funeral services for Charles William Doerflinger, 60, of 911 Iowa Ave., will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of Memories Mortuary with the Rev. Edward Paup officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Albert Li* tell, Roy Sportsman, Wayne McCloughan, James LeBeau, Carl Susemihl and Leo Reining. Mr. Doerflinger died Wednesday at a local hospital. He was born Oct. 12, 1900 in Kenosha, Wis. A retired carpenter, he had lived in Colorado Springs since 19«. He homesteaded near Walden in 1918 and lived there until 1927 when moved to Wisconsin. He lived in Wisconsin until he came 'to Colorado Springs in 1949. ; - He was married June 16,1928 in Kenosha, Wis.
