Mrs. Arthur Swartz Mrs. Arthur F. (Millie) Swartz, 87, 3115 Sheridan Rd., d i ed at Memorial Hospital Tuesday morning following a sudden illness. Born in Racine, Aug. 21, 1886, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bittorf. She spent her early life in Ra- cine and received her educa- tion in Racine schools. On Dec. 20, 1911, she married Arthur F. Swartz, who survives her. Mrs. Swartz was a member of t he First United Methodist Church, the Woman's Society of the church and the Brook- side Auxiliary. She taught Sun- day school for many years and was active in the Grey Ladies of the Red Cross during World Wars I and Il. Besides her husband survi- vors include two sons, Arthur, Burlington, Wis., and Earl, Ke- nosha, and a daughter, Mrs. Leon (Esther) Northway, Keno- sha. Five grandchildren and a brother, John Bittorf, Janes- Ville, Wis., also survive her. Three brothers, Arthur, Wil- liam and Edward, preceded her in death. Kenosha News 25.12.1973

SWARTZ–Funeral services for the late Mrs. Millie Swartz of 3415 Sheridan Rd. who passed away December 25th will be held on Thursday, December 27th at 1:30 p.m. from the Hansen Funeral Home. Interment following in Green Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hansen Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (today).
