Details: Ruth Baker EASrON Ruth C. Baker, of Wickersham Farm, Easton, died at the Memorial Hospital at Easton on Saturday, Feb, 20, 1982. She was 72. Born in Bethesda, March 30, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. and Emma Preddis Becker. After graduating from Washington Grove High School, she worked as a floor manager in a variety store in Washington, D.C. until 1931, when she married Dawson G. Baker a route salesman for a local bakery. In 1937, they mov- ed to Talbot County, where they liv- ed and farmed the Wickersham Farm near Easton. Mr. Baker died in November 1981. Mrs. Baker is survived by two daughters, Phyllis A. Shannon of Beltsville and Janet B. Covey of Seaford, Del.; two sons, James D. Baker of Sharptown and Robin Baker of Trappe; two sisters, Wilhelmina H. Becker of Gaiåersburg and Norma F. Grogan *New Windsor, Md. and Il grand- children.
