Details: Fred Becker 93 Claimed by Death St died Saturday '”& B$i the Kenosha Hospital foxing a long illness A native" Kenoshan he' was born Oct 14 1865 son of the late Mr and Mrs Frederick L — — - - j Becker As A young mau he was associated with his brother Ed- ward in the carriage’ and wagop building business under their name Becker had been custodian of the Kenosha County courthouse for 25 years and had been at member of the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors for several yesrs - ' -He was also a member of the old volunteer fire department known as the Gem Hose Company and was active in the Kenosha Historical Society as a life member and curator Becker was the oldest member in years and membeeshfp of the Knights of Pythias of the state and was also a member of the Knights of Pythias' Local No 32 Racine He was a member of the Uni form Rank and the Dramatic Order of Knights of Korasan Becker also served as past presl dent of the Kenosha County Garden Club On June 5 1890 he married Miss Amelia Tempieman who preceded him "in death ira April 19 1941 Survivors include two soni and a daughter Edward W Flinty Mich Burnell L Milwaukee and Mrs Gustav V Hed-strom Kenosha two brothers and a sister Frank S Menlo Park Calif Charles H Washington D C and Mrs Martin Skolas Kenosha five grandchil- and one great great-grandchild tls0 preceded in death
