LaFayette Daily Courier, 21 januari 1903: "The death of Mrs. Theodore Wahl occurred at 3:40 o clock this morning at St. Elizabeth hospital where she has been convined for the past 5 days. Death was attributed to hemmorage of the brain and her illness was of short duration. The deceased was born in Aschendorf, Hanover, Germany october 11, 1838 but had resided in LaFayette for many years. She was one of the best known German ladies in the city and was greatly admired. Mrs. Wahl was a devout member of St. Boniface church and was a member of the woman 's sodality of the church. She was a devote wife and a kind mother. A husband and son, Anthony Wahl, survive. The remains where removed from the hospital to the home no 1421 South Street. The funeral will take place on friday morning at 9 o clock from St. Boniface church. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery".
