Moved to Kelso Washington in 1903 where he passed away andhisbody was returned to Hutto where he was buried in theHuttoCemetery in Hutto, Texas IN MEMORY OF C.W. HUTTO Hutto,Texas,February 25, 1919 . On the evening of February 6, 1919the DeathAngel came to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hutto and calledhim fromthis walk of life to the life beyond the grave. CharlesW. Huttowas born on May 20, 1855 , in the town that bears hisname andwhere his body was laid to await the generalresurrection. Hespent his life in his home town until 1903 whenhe moved toWashington and it was here the Death Ange l found himto give himhis summons to appear before God to give an account.After hisfuneral sermon had been preached in Washington, hisbody wasaccompanied by his daughter, Mrs. Minnie Sponner, of Kelso,Western Australiashington, arriving at Hutto on the morningofFebruary 13th and his body was carried to his brother'shomewhere at 2:30 o'clock a short service was held by the writerandRev. M. J . H. Woodard, of the Presbyterian church afterwhichthe body was laid to rest in the Hutto cemetery. CharlesHuttowas married to Miss Mary Jane Flinn in November 1877, andtothis union was born six ch ildren, two of whom preceded himtothe other world. He leaves an invalid wife, fourchildren,Hardie Homer, George Benjamin, Charles Howard, and Mrs.MinnieSue Spooner, six grandchildren, five brother s and onesisterwith a host other relatives and friends to mourn hisdeparture.Brother Charles Hutto was converted and joined the M.E. Church,South at Hutto he being the eighty eighth member ofthiso rganization. He lived faithful to God and the church untilthelast. May God bless the sorrowing ones and may the God thatwasa stay to him in his last hours be a shield and a protectoranda comforte r an a guide through the rough places in life, andatlast the bearer that shall bear them safely across the darkcoldstream of Death and to a resting place where our Savior hasgoneto prepare for us R ev Chas.
