Birth: Jun. 10, 1896 Dover Tuscarawas County Ohio, USA Death: Mar. 16, 1955 Dover Tuscarawas County Ohio, USA Ralph Lenarz Ends Own Life Ralph Lenarz; 58, of 214, W. 15th St., a roller for the Reeves Steel and Mfg. Co., died in Union Hos- pital at 9:55 a.m. today as result of a self-inflicted shotgun wound in the chest. In ill health for two years, Mr. Lenarz was found wounded by a daughter, Mrs.- Russell Smith, and her son, Reggie, 16, when they went to the home about 8:15 for a visit. He was on a tarpaulin at the rear of his garage. Police arrived at 8:26 and he was rushed to the hospital in a Toland ambulance. Mr. Lenarz was an employee at Reeves Steel 39 years and was a member of the Reeves Local, 2737. He was born in Dover, a son of the late William A. and Carrie Gilbert Lenarz. Surviving are his widow, Gladys Peterman Lenarz; three daughters, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Joseph Sutek and Mrs. Chester Truman, all of Dover: five grand- Children and two brothers, William of Dover and Jesse of RD 2, Dover. Two sisters preceded him in death. Services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Toland Funeral Home with the Rev. Reinhard Krause officiating. Interment will be in Dover Burial Park.
