Peter Weiland war Schustermeister und wohnte 1745 an der Gosse, 1747 amHolzkamp, 1749 am Brand, 1753 in der Krüdersheide, 1755 und 1758 wiederan der Gosse und 1760 in der Krüdersheide 1776 und 1782 in Hackhausen.Gestorben ist er 1790 bei sei nem Sohn Johann Peter in Rupelrath. Ob derBeruf ein Grund zu häufigem Wohnortwechsel war oder ob er auchPferdegeschirr repariert hat ist nicht fststellbar. Im Jahre 1758 musser in Geldschwierigkeiten gewesen sein, denn er stellt am 2. Mai wegenrückständiger Pacht Wilhelm Dickes einen Schuldschein aus, der am 19.Juni auch gerichtlich eingetragen wird. Er verpfändet seine "Gereiden"(Arbeitsgerä te) und die "Kindsgerechtigkeit" (das Erbe) seiner EhefrauMaria Gertraud Hausmann auf dem Holzkamp. (Berg. Gerichte XVII AmtSolingen 6 Band III Seite 206)
