Harris 1923 - 2005 Lawrence Harris Services for Marion E. Harris, 82, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Harris died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was born July 6, 1923, in Huron, Ohio, the daughter of Lilburn M. and Sarah Lorena Hamer Dowers. She attended Lawrence schools and graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in 1941. Mrs. Harris and her husband owned Harris Construction Co. They lived in Estes Park, Colo., during the summers. She also was a homemaker and worked at Gardenland. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and YTN's church ladies group. She married Neil M. Harris on Oct. 1, 1941, in Leavenworth. He survives, of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Roger "Bo" Harris, Lawrence, and Michael J. Harris, Baldwin; a daughter, Claudia S. Flory, Lawrence; a sister, Doris Quisenberry, Eudora; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
