DR. F. H. UPPENDAHL, PEORIA DENTIST, DIES AT HIS HOME

Dr. F. H. Uppendahl, 72, of 1010 W Glen Oak Ave., Peoria dentist for many years, died at his home at 7:10p.m. Thursday. He had been ill several months.

Born in Dalton City Jan. 13, 1886, he was the only child of John Henryand Margaret Wehmhoff Uppendahl.

A graduate of the University of Illinois, he attended the School of Denistry at Chicago College of Dental Surgery, Loyal University and was amember of Psi Omega dental fraternity. He married Ann Murphy Sept. 2, 1922.

After engaging in private practice of his profession in Peoria from 1911 to 1917, he was associated from 1918 to 1922 with the Horlick MaltedMilk Co., as a representative for the medical and dental professions. He practiced at Chicago from 1922 to 1939 afterwhich he returned to Peoria as resident dentist at Peoria State Hospital from 1939 to 1944.

Dr Uppendahl was a member of the Creve Coeur Club: Peoria Lodge 15, AE&AM: Peoria Consistory, Scottish Rite and Mohammed Temple Shrine.

Surviving are his widow.
