Mrs. Bolland, Henning, Dies of Heart Attack August 1, 1952

Rushed to Wadena Hospital, But Dies After Reaching It; Husband Died inJanuary

Henning: Mrs. Dick Bolland, who has been ill for the past few years suffering with a heart ailment, died at the Wesley Hospital in Wadena Friday afternoon about 15 minutes after arriving at the hospital. She had suffered a heart attack Thursday night and another one on Friday, necessitating her removal to the hospital by ambulance. Her death occurred within a few months of that of her husband, who died in January.

Betty Ohlrogge was born in Linteln, Germany, Jan 24, 1892, and in thatsame year came to the US with her parents.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

On May 23, 1911, she was married to Dick Bolland, and they made their home in this community ever since.

Her husband preceded her in death on January 19 this year and one brother, Henry, died in May.

Surviving are her three sons and two daughters - Walter and Herbert ofHenning; Arnold of Ottertail; Wilma of Chicago and Clara at home.

Also three brothers - Dick, William and Fred Ohlrogge of Ottertail; MrsHerman Menze (Erna) and Mrs Fred Rastedt (Annie) also of Ottertail; and Mrs Theo Wagner of Richville. One sister, Mrs Wm Luhning (Augusta) died in 1925, and one brother, Henry, died in May of this year. There arealso three grandchildren surviving.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm at St John's Lutheran Church in Ottertail, preceded by services at 1:30 at the Belmont Chapel inHenning. The Rev Cloeter will officiate.
