I believe his first name was Friedrich, but he was always known as Fritz.
He was the son of Carl Reinke and Mary Ohlrogge. He was born before they married,so he has his mother's maiden name. I don't know if Carl washis real father or not. He was born in Stedorf, Germany.
Fritz Otto Ohlrogge, Sr. Married Doris Otersen in Germany on March 18,1882 in Dorverden.

He was carriage man for H H Luders, who settled in Ottertail on Leaf Lake, MN, and H H borrowed him money for passage over to MN. The Ohlrogges settled near H H about a miles away on Portage Lake.
H H = Herman Heinrich Luders, his son was Herman Wilhelm Lueders, and his children changed their last names to Leaders.
Immigrated in 1892.
