Marie Elizabeth Mary Popplemeyer has Mary Duesberg on her cemetary name plate at St. Libory,Ill. Many of the tombstones were damaged in a tornado. Marie Elizabeth Mary Popplemeyer had three sisters & a brother,Mathias that came to the St. Louis, Mo. region. Mathias was married in the same church as Marie Elizabeth Mary. She was married shortly after to John Henry William Dusenberg aka Duesberg on Aug. 3,1847 at St. Mary of Victories Catholic Church,St. Louis,Mo. Marie Elizabeth Mary Popplemeyer was born on May 26,1817 to Ferdinand Popplemeyer & Catharina Marie Helmenkamp in Schinkel,Osnabruck,Germany. She was baptised in St. Petrus Dom in Osnabruck,Germany
