After their marriage, Catharine and Patrick lived in Frederick Co., Virginia, for their first few years and he is listed on the 1793 and 1794 Frederick Co., Virginia, tax lists. Then they were in Washington Co., Maryland, from 1795 to early 1797. Catharine (Hickman) Loughry moved with her husband to Harrison Co., (W.) Virginia, by later 1797. Her husband is listed on the 1798, 1799, 1800, 1801, 1803, 1804, 1805, & 1806 Harrison County tax lists, and on the 1810 & 1830 Harrison County censuses. She was living in 1815 when her father, Adam Hickman, Senr, wrote his will in Harrison Co., (W.) Virginia, and is listed "To my daughter Catharine Lockery one full share" Catharine (Hickman) Loughery died in Harrison Co., (W.) Virginia, after 1830, and is buried on the Davisson farm near Clarksburg, Harrison Co., (W.) Va., near her husband.
