Notes for this person

Or Jakob Marx Glaser. Or Glass, Classen. Miner (Berghauer) and citizen in Reiffelbach. He was Catholic and his wife Lutheran. Their sons were baptized Catholic, their daughters Lutheran.

Their marriage record was entered out of order in the Meisenheim Catholic church records, which is why KIN50 lists the date as Sep 1750. KIN50 also gives his burial date as 28 Jan 1766, but that is the burial date for hisson Friedrich Glaser. This Johann Jacob Glaser is not the same person as Jacob Closs, who married Anna Eva Buchen in Meisenheim on 24 Oct 1747. That Jacob Closs was from Schallodenbach, she from Lettweiler; they lived inLettweiler after marriage. And Jacob Glaser is called an “honestus adolescens” in his marriage listing in September 1749.

Taufpaten: Jacobo Schunck et Joanne Petro Classen cum Anna Barbara Hoenes
