Native, Dies at age of 82 Mrs. Lena M. Hoffman, 82, died at 11:15 o'clock last night at her home,502 Somerset Street. She was the widow of Josiah Hoffman, whose deathoccured in 1910. Born on Feb.25, 1862, in Somerset County, Mrs. Hoffmanwas a daughter of the late Frederick K. and Mary (Rose) Slagle. Survivingare a daughter, Miss June Hoffman 502 Somerset Street, a member of theJohnstown High School Faculity; A sister Mrs. Ella Replogle, 914 VonLunen Road, and a brother Harry G. Slagle, Wilmington Del. Two sistersand three brothers preceded her in death - Elizabeth, Melinda, Nelson twoinfant brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday atPicking Mortuary. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.
