Notes for this person
1832 August Walcke listed in Baltimore arrivals, as is Friedrich Rathje. 30 August 1833 August Walcke signs with Rathje and company in the purchase of land in Warren County 7 Dec 1833 August Walcke married to Lisethe Holst. This is the birthday of Johann Wilhelm Bock (1785 Lubeck, Mecklenberg, Germany). Also Bock daughter Minna marries (Friedrich Morsey) the next year on the same day. [DKF] suggests relation in that they married on J.W. birthday. In fact, I would bet that she emigrates with the Bock girls, and comes west with Bock. The others stayed back in Philadelphia for a year. The next summer 1834 – Bock went back to get them. 1836 daughter Martha Augustas born 1837 daughter Maria Listhe born August Walke dies 17 Aug 1838 Lucette WALKE Quit Claim to Emily KRUGER (2nd husband attorney Adolph Krueger. He died very mysteriously while out of town on a business trip to Louisville in 1848. She opened a school in Washington. Her girls grew up and married into the Ruge family), late Emily RATHJE (1st husband Rathje) (this would indicate August Walcke was deceased by this date ) ("her claim in the estate of Frederick Rathje" would this indicate Rathje (will probate 16 July 1835) was somehow related to Lucette). [DKF] On 9/09/ 1835 one parcel in 44-1-2 is paid off. Rathje’s On 10/1/1835 two of the parcels of land in 44-1-3 that he had bought were paid off. Maybe by his estate, or was Rathje alive? I think he died in July 1836 by his estate. Emily had moved with Adoph in 1837 to Washington, Franklin County. Had she moved back to Dutzow in 1838? 31 October 1839 Lucette purchased lot 36 in Dutzow (listing middle initial of Lucette as "W") 1840 Lisethe listed in Census as Walke, Zeta, page 162, Charrette Township, Warren County. She lives near John Naumann, who is in section 36 – of 44-2 15 may 1842 Lisethe marries to Dietrich Kroehnke (married 1841, according to obituary) 1841-1844 Deitrich and Lizet has child, born and died young. 26 Aug 1843 Dietrich and Lisette have Friedrich Gustav 1844 Lizet died, according to (1882) obituary of Dietrich Kroehnke, from mental illness, same that her first husband died from, and many others. 28 May 1845 Friedrich Gustav Krohnke baptized at Femme Osage 28 May 1845 Maria Lisette Hedwig Walcke baptized at Femme Osage 11 May 1846 Mrs. L Walke is the eastern boundary of lots 37 and 38 in Dutzow, between Schiller and Hirder Streets. J W Bock sells adjacent land to Bernard Rossner. (odd, she married Dietrich Kroehnke in 1841 or 1842, and I have recorded she died in 1844???) March 18, 1849 Martha Walcke was baptized at Holstein. Godparents Krohnke and Henrietta Rieger. (Henrietta is Pastor Rieger’s wife) 1850 Kroehnke living in Marthasville, yet wife and children not with him 1854 WARREN COUNTY PROBATE 1833-1858, by Carolyn M.
