Other Information:
1. The church books dated between 1756 and 1792 of the Marien church in Leeste were destroyed in a fire.
2. There were three Johann Bodes who died in Leeste in the period from 1802 to 1825. The first died on the 1/9/1805 aged 48 years, the second died on the 20/3/1807 aged 43 years and the third died on the 2/12/1815 aged 73 years.
3. There were at least four Bothe families living in Leeste in 1775 (see document "Hann. 74 Syke Nr. 49" in the civic archive of Hannover).
