Notizen zu dieser Person
John Wayerski was born November 2, 1847 probably in Poznan, Poland/ Posen, Germany. He emigrated to America in 1881 (according to information given to the 1900 Federal Census). He was first noted in the 1885 census for Carson Township, WI, Portage County. This census lists one son and four daughters, two of these children having been born in the United States, three in Germany. Frank and Mary were born in Poznan/Posen, Martha was born in Junction City, WI in March of that year. The other two children mentioned were probably from Constancya's previous marriages to Martin Sczygelski and Valentine Mazor.
The 1895 census for the same Township shows the family with four sons and six daughters. Since John and Constancya both had previous marriages, it is hard to tell which children were from which marriage. In the 1900 census for Eau Pleine Township, WI, Portage County, John and Constancya both said they were married for 30 years. It may well be that each married in 1870 for the first time, but these 30 years were probably not meant as the duration of their marriage to each other. This same census shows that John Wayerski came to America in 1881 and that Constancya arrived in 1873. The arrival date of 1873 for Constancya is confirmed by her death certificate, which says she had been in the United States for 67 years at the time of her death in 1941.
The informant for the data on his death certificate was Joseph Mazer, a son by his wife's first marriage to Martin Sczygelski.
