Details: Gustav Becker, 78, Dies at Residence Gustav Becker, 2713 46th St., died Sunday morning at his home following a long illness. Born in Germany, Oct. 8, 1876, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl H. Becker, he came to Kenosha in 1882. and married Miss Louise Lichte on Nov. 4, 1908. Becker had been employed by the former N. R. Allen and Sons Tannery, and later was engaged in the drayage business, retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Immanuel Methodist church and the German Workingman's society. In addition to his widow, survivors are four sons and a daughter, Adolph G., George W., Theodore W., and Harold C. Becker and Mrs. Henry P. Homs, all of Kenosha; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Fechner, Mrs. Pauline Doerflinger and Mrs. Emma Becker, all of Kenosha; Mrs. Augusta Becker, Somers Township; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Rudolph, and two brothers, Carl and Martin Becker. Clipped from Kenosha Evening News January 17, 1955
