Florida police probe shooting of Kenoshan Authorities at Miami are still Investigating the shooting death of a Kenosha woman there last Friday morning. The Dade County medical examiner's office said this morning the death of Mrs. Ruth E. Bloxdorf. 58. 4705 17th Ave. was being studied and it would probably be several days before a ruling is made. Mrs. Bloxdorf died at a Miam hospital early Friday after being fatally wounded by a shot from an automatic pistol. Police also are still investigating the incident. According to information received by Kenosha police, Mrs. Bloxdorf was visiting with her daughter Hope, at the home of her son-in-law, Jerome Story, when the shooting occurred. Story, now a resident of Miami Beach, is a former Kenosha policeman who resigned from the force in 1951. A Miami newspaper reported the shooting occurred while Mrs. Bloxdorf. her daughter and Story were sitting at a table in his home talking shortly after midnight Friday. How the shooting occurred and whether the gun was fired by the victim or another person is still not clear, according to reports from Miami. Clipped from Kenosha News February 8, 1965
