1 | Details: Mrs. Rosetta Fechner dies at age of 91 Mrs. Rosetta S. Fechner, 91, 4609 17th Ave., died at St. Catherine Hospital early this morning following a long illness. Born in Friedwald, Germany on Sept. 14, 1872, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Karl Becker. She came to Kenosha as a young girl and had resided here ever since. On June 23.1897, at Immanuel Methodist Curch, she married Ernest F. Fechner, who survives her. Mrs. Fechner was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church and of its Ladies Aid. She also was a member of Woman's Missionary, Martha Tarbell CirCle, and Women's Society of Christian Service. She was instrumental in the organization of World Day of Prayer, was a former superintendent of the Primary Sunday School, was an honorary member and past president of the PTA of Jefferson School, past president and treasurer of the WCTU, and a member of the Golden Years Club. Mrs. Fechner is survived, in addition to the widower, by four sons, Gilbert, Edward, Chester and Wesley and two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Ruth) Bloxdorf and Mrs. Esther Freitag, all of Kenosha; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Becker and Mrs. Augusta Becker of Kenosha, and by 19 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Clarence, and three brothers, Carl, Gustave and Martin, and a sister, Mrs. Pauline Doerflinger.
