1 | Details: Chester J. Fechner Chester J Fechner, 75, 4609 17th Ave. , died early Wednesday morning at St Catherine's Hospital after a five-week illness. He was born on June 1, 1904 in Kenosha, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs Ernst F. (Rosetta Becker) Fechner. He received his education in local schools and was a lifelong resident of Kenosha He was well-known in local sport circles and played baseball and basketball for the Simmons teams as well as for semi-pro clubs out-of-state. He was employed by the Simmons Co. for 35 years before retiring 19 years ago. Surviving are two brothers Gilbert E. and Wesley F., both of Kenosha and a sister, Mrs. Esther Freitag, Kenosha He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Edward C., and a sister.
