Details: Wetzel, Mamie I. MADISON — Mamie l. Wetzel, age 74, resided at 2222 Seminole Highway, died Wednesday, March 16, 1983, at a local hospital. Mrs. Wetzel moved to Madison in 1940, and had worked for the Secretary of State for the State of Wlsconsln before her retirement. She was a member Of West Arbor Free Methodist Church and was active in many senior citizen activities. Survivors include three sons, Donald E. Fechner and Kenneth Fechner both of Madison, and Gerald Fechner of St. Paul, Minnesota; eight grandchildren; a great grandchild; and two sisters, Dorothy of Kenosha and Gladys of California. She was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle; and her first husband, Clarence Fechner, who died in Kenosha in 1939. She was later married to Harry J. Wetzel of Madison. Funerol services will be held at the CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 1983. The Reverend David L. Burton will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha. Friends may call from 9 a. m. until 'he time of the services at the funeral home. Clipped from Madison Capital Times March 17, 1983
