MRS. ANNA HOLZ

Services were Tuesday at Stewart Funeral Home for Mrs. Anna Holz, 91, St. Marys, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital where she was admitted December 13 after she suffered a broken hip in a fall. She was born May 6, 1876 in Wabaunsee County, the daughter of Conrad and Mary Beasterfeld. She was a member of Immanuel United church of Christ at Wells Creek, southeast of Wamego in Wabaunsee County. She was married to William Holz, February 12, 1895. He died in 1945. a son Carl Holz, died August 17, 1966. Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Rosa Pageler, Wamego; and Mrs. Lela Richards, Bryte, Calif.; a son, William Holz, Rossville; eight grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and four great-great-grand- children. Burial was in Wells Creek Church Cemetery.
